CUSTOM BRIM LENGTH - FOR DOG HATS
This item is for those who require a longer brim length (usually for medical reasons) to the already quite generous dimensions of our standard dog hats.
Note that there are very few who will actually need this adjustment to the length - and it will usually be a suggestion by your vet.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your dog will loathe you if you make the brim too long as it will get in the way of him sniffing at anything, and it will end up in the water when he tries to drink.
If the brim is too long it can become "floppy" even though we make it stiffer than usual ..... Remember to be practical!
However, we are here to help when all else fails!
The BRIM LENGTH is measured from dog's forehead at 'eyebrow' level towards the tip of his nose.
The hat is to shade his eyes and the upper part of his nose.
The hat is not intended to shade the end of dog's nose - it would have to be longer than his nose to do this!
(e.g. A 10 cm (4 inch) brim is required to shade a human's nose which does not stick out 10cm from our face!)
